1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the services of Eways Event Decorations, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Description
Eways Event Decorations provides event decoration services including but not limited to:
- Wedding decorations and styling
- Corporate event decorations
- Birthday and party decorations
- Event equipment and furniture rentals
- Custom decoration design and installation
3. Booking and Payment Terms
3.1 Quotes and Estimates
All quotes provided are estimates only and may be subject to change based on final event requirements, venue conditions, and other factors.
3.2 Deposits and Payment
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking
- Full payment is due as agreed in your service contract
- Late payments may result in cancellation of services
- We accept payment methods as specified in your contract
3.3 Additional Costs
Additional charges may apply for:
- Changes to the original booking after confirmation
- Additional items or services requested
- Venue access fees or parking charges
- Damage to rental items
- Extended setup or breakdown times
4. Cancellations and Refunds
4.1 Client Cancellations
- More than 60 days before event: Deposit forfeited, remaining payments refunded
- 30-60 days before event: 50% of total contract value charged
- Less than 30 days before event: 100% of total contract value charged
4.2 Eways Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will provide a full refund of all payments received.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate event information and requirements
- Ensuring venue access at agreed times
- Obtaining necessary permissions from venue owners
- Providing safe working conditions for our team
- Informing us of any venue restrictions or requirements
- Ensuring adequate power supply and facilities
6. Our Responsibilities
Eways Event Decorations will:
- Provide services as described in your contract
- Use reasonable skill and care in delivering services
- Arrive at agreed times for setup and breakdown
- Provide quality decorations and equipment
- Remove all decorations and equipment after the event
7. Equipment and Rental Items
7.1 Care of Items
Clients are responsible for the care of rental items during the event. Charges will apply for:
- Lost or stolen items (replacement cost)
- Damaged items (repair or replacement cost)
- Excessive cleaning required
- Items not returned in original condition
7.2 Ownership
All decorations, equipment, and rental items remain the property of Eways Event Decorations at all times.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for services
- We are not responsible for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure)
- We are not liable for injuries or damages caused by third parties or client negligence
- We are not responsible for venue-related issues outside our control
9. Insurance
Eways Event Decorations maintains appropriate business insurance. Clients are advised to obtain their own event insurance to cover personal liability and property damage.
10. Intellectual Property
All designs, concepts, photographs, and materials created by Eways Event Decorations remain our intellectual property. We reserve the right to use images of our work for marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11. Photography and Marketing
By using our services, you grant us permission to photograph our work at your event and use these images for marketing purposes, unless you notify us in writing that you object to this use.
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Severe weather conditions
- Pandemics or health emergencies
- Acts of terrorism or war
- Government restrictions or regulations
- Transportation failures
- Supplier failures
13. Modifications to Services
We reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions to decorations and equipment due to availability, while maintaining the overall aesthetic and quality agreed upon.
14. Complaints and Disputes
Any complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of your event. We will investigate and respond to all complaints promptly. Disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with your service contract and any written agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Eways Event Decorations.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
17. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
18. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
